If you are forming a group for release, it's a bit premature. Plus, many people (i.e. me) would feel a bit safer with Heroes than a quasi-PuG.

It's for release; and if you think this is early, keep in mind this was started back in August

Playing serious is one thing playing for 48 hours or more is stupid and beyond childish.

I only see 1 problem with this...
PC gamer mag said that some mission/quests will REQUIRE that you have a certain heroe in your group.
other then that I wish your group gl and god speed Linkusmax

I don't mean to thread hijack, but anyone interested in starting up a party with only old characters the day NF is released? I'll be playing my Tyrian monk and necro first to get a feel for the game instead of creating a new character. I'd love to get a party started on here to rush through on our old characters and play as much as possible in the first 2 days or so.

The irony is that a full Hero/Henchmen group will be able to finish Nightfall faster than any organized 8-man group. Why? Heroes and Henchmen don't need bathroom breaks!

Heroes?
Greetings,
My apologies if what I am about to type has already been mentioned. It's 5:30am and I've yet to go to sleep (I've been green farming). You, the OP, need to make sure that allowances are made for those missions that require a hero be present. Remeber, a hero takes the place of one of the party members, so in some areas, you will be down 1 player, maybe more depending on later areas we didn't see in the preview event.
Merry meet, merry met, merry meet again,
Wyldchild777

postpone the date. If she really likes you then she will understand that a new chapter of your favorite MMORPG is set to release on the 27th. She will understand that Guildwars is more important than her. You can use this as an argument for why I am still single, but my dream girl would understand where my priorities lie.
If this is for real then I have already talked with Bowman Artemis. We will be leading the group together. I run a dedicated TS server for my guild that we can use. It is set to near max codecs so the quality is almost as good as a ventrillo server.
So don't worry OP your group will live on, and we will achieve greatness with or without you.

Yeah, all three missions during the preview require a specific hero in the party, and according to NZGamer.com the fourth mission also requires a hero.

Ok guys, update. Since Nightfall is so close to being released, I wanted to be clear on a few things.
I will be in the first outpost/town/whatever place comes first at 5:00 PM AEST, aka, the instant the servers open for play.
I'm going to get Kurt to PM those of you that will be joining us with the Teamspeak server info.
I will be posting updates with screenshots after we finish each mission. They will be posted on a thread in the Screenshot Exhibition forum and on my website at www.dfcowell.com.
My IGN will be "Moderamen Flamma" (Guiding Flame/Torch/Light/Star).

Not necessarily. You just need someone like Cartman's mom on call.
